The app is rarely updated and does not work properly. The company seems to have abandoned this app and moved on to making changes to the other apps and cameras.

Great but needs to be updated for iPhone 6 plus

Great camera, good app. Wish the connectivity was a little more intuitive, but fairly easy to set up with your iPhone. I have had this through the 4, 4S, 5 and 6+, all work very smoothly, both via wireless network and cell connection when traveling.

It would be really helpful if this app was updated (and the hardware). The monitor itself conveniently makes a loud beep after startup - very annoying if your little on has just fallen asleep. And the app launches with the volume muted which, lets face it, makes sense in opposite world but not here.

This product is horrible, do not buy it. If ur reading reviews about this product chances are u already bought it. Thank god I didnt pay for it I got mine as a present. When I connected it and my app was searching for the camera I started smelling something burning I looked at the camera and saw the plastic surrounding the camera lens is melting I got closer and small spark lit I immediately disconnected and didnt try to turn it on again.

The app freezes all the time since the latest update. Overall, the product is very complex to use and instructions are not available. All you get is an incomplete FAQ. Ive never managed to use the app from work as I just cant figure out how to use it when Im not connected to the same wifi network.

The camera is decent but the app is very dated. Can be much more enriching if they updated the app

This is a review based on 2 years of use. Heres my rating system. 5 stars: Excited about the purchase! -1 star: Setup was tedious for an average technical person. It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish including customization of the App and camera settings for 2 cameras located on different floors. +1 star: Picture clarity is clear and sound quality is good. -1 star: App updates can create issues: App freezes, it quits unexpectedly, it cant find camera or loses network connection even though all my other devices on the same network are good. -1 star: App is missing an "I forgot username or password" feature. = 3 stars Overview: Meh. Great concept and pretty cameras with just enough features for the price. But the iBaby App is finicky and doesnt have the same product appeal or design as the cameras.

SERIOUSLY?! This app has not been updated since 11/2013. That right there is a sign that the company just wants your money and care less about the product experience, which only works when there is a full moon. Cmon iBaby! You can do better

Have used this camera and app for a year and a half now and we couldnt be happier. There were some initial connection kinks but once we worked those out we havent had any issues. We use it at home, when we are out, and even used it when we were in Mexico and baby was at home! We always update phone software, etc, so we never have any issues. Now we just need to purchase a second camera for our baby on the way!

This is the worst app ever! It always glitches & hardly ever works. So frustrating!

I rely on this app so much and have loved it for over a year. I just updated my IOS and the camera works but there is no way to adjust the sound and movement settings! This needs to be fixed asap - one of the major benefits of this baby cam is that I can get alerts on my iphone and ipad!!!!!

What a Horrible Company!!! I have 4 devices at home and if I am lucky one connects. At night this thing shuts down every 10 min so its completely useless. I bought two of these f@@@@@g monitors and wasted close to $500. Tech support is a joke and the store wont take this back. I have never left a bad review for any company I always give them the benefit of the doubt BUT its 2:49am and I and soooo Frustrated that I cant see what my kid is doing or hear him either. DO NOT BUY THIS. TRUST THE PEOPLE WHO GIVE THIS SH@@ product a 1 star I wish I can give this no stars at all it does not deserve that even. - concerned parent

I had it for a year everything was fine Now it only works from local area network From outside home does not work I emailed the support still no respond

We have owned this monitor since our 16 m old daughter was born. I am great with technology and this camera was a huge pain to set up. Customer service was even worse. I had to jump through hoops just to get them on the phone. Fast forward to now.. Since the apple update MONTHS ago, the alerts have not worked on the app. I contacted their CS dept (what a joke) with no resolution. Their solution was to remotely control the alerts from my PC.. I have a Mac. Their directions were null and void and they provided no alternate solution. There has never been an update for this app and I suspect there never will be. Ive contacted CS again but am doubtful Ill receive any type of solution. Without alerts to tel you your baby is making noise, what good is the monitor? Total crap. Extremely dissatisfied and turned off by this companys lack of respect/care for their customers. Dont buy this monitor!!!

Apparently after the updates (cant tell how far back) the alerts stopped working . I finally needed the alerts and now theyre gone . Ive had this camera for a while now and from other reviews I can see this has been a problem for a while now . How good is this if you cant do one of the 2 things this camera is supposed to do? Because you dont have any recording option.

This monitor was difficult to set up so it gets 3 stars for that and the fact there will never be updates to this app. Anyways...I was quite disappointed I couldnt set up the alerts. I left my daughter with my teenage daughter and didnt want to leave my phone so I had her set it up on the computer. From there she turned the alerts on. When I used my app later the motion alerts were working!! Way cool!! To set up from computer just go to the setup tab when you have your app running, put the DDNS number into the browser on you computer, and then your monitor username and password

Do we throw our iBaby can away and buy a better product with better support? Cmon guys!

I keep seeing people say it was impossibly hard to set up, but we have absolutely no issues. It was quick and easy. Ive also seen people say it only works when youre at home, but Ive checked mine from everywhere! I love to peek in when Im at work. The only thing that bothers me a little is my sound is behind. Could be my wifi connection is slow though. I got over that a while ago anyway. Now that my daughter is older its not as much of a worry. Im sure well get a second one for baby #2 room once hes in there!

Well when I tired this out a few Months ago it worked great but now all of a sudden I cant adjust alerts, contrast, brightness or sound. What the hell is the point of this monitor if it wont alert me when my baby is crying or moving around? Ive emailed customer service but from below reviews it sounds like Ill get no help. Really annoyed since I cant return this now and still have to buy a new monitor from a company that actually makes working ones!
